We are seeking additional senior sales professionals to support our rapid growth. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success in digital media sales and a strong understanding of social media advertising. You will be responsible for calling on clients of all levels as well as advertising agencies. You must have a consultative sales approach—and come up with ground-breaking concepts. Responsibilities
- Understand Silverback Social’s business model, and the evolution of internet advertising
- Identify and close digital brand/agency decision makers
- Achieve the company’s annual sales goals
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals
- Manage accounts effectively to drive recurring revenue
- Be creative and think “out of the box”

Qualification
- Pro-active, results-driven, hit the ground hard, get it done attitude (a must)
- 4+ years of media/digital sales and or ad agency experience. Social Media sales a plus.
- Personable, excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to author a comprehensive RFP response
- Independently motivated
- Strong contacts with consumer products marketers, ad agencies, PR firms, digital agencies and promotional firms
- Proven track record of success driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships
- Demonstrated track record of structuring and managing complex negotiations to successful closure and delivery (at a 6-figure level)
- Thorough understanding of Social Media
- Intense interest in Social Media and the interactive space

DESIGNER

The Designer will transform creative vision into jaw-dropping on and offline digital experiences for our clients.
You’ll be conceiving, crafting and executing different types of creative content using various graphic design platforms (Adobe CS, etc.). You’ll be responsible for developing and executing design standards of visual collateral for major brand accounts, specific campaigns and self-generated ideas including typography, grid, layout and color palette, all while maintaining the brand “look” and “feel” of our clients. You’ll assist in the development of all major components of campaigns including micro-sites and multi-platform initiatives. In this role, you’ll also work directly with our CEO to develop cutting edge presentation decks. We want someone who loves to see a story through from beginning to end, who will focus solely on creating these stories in presentation form while making sure we’re buttoned up both externally and internally.

Requirements:
2+ years experience at an interactive or design agency

COMMUNITY MANAGER

The Community Manager will actively monitor and engage with our client’s online communities on a multitude of social platforms. The Community Manager will manage and guide conversations that revolve around our brands by managing content calendars, monitoring real-time online social conversations (including those on blogs, etc.) and participating as the voice of the brand in those conversations.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Establish a presence for our partners and integrate their messaging into the community in a relevant and realistic way on various social media platforms. Requirements:

MICRO-CONTENT PRODUCER

The Micro-Content Producer specializes in creating value for our clients with “real-time” creativity and innovation.
You have a unique understanding of not only the brand platform, but the brand’s social community and have a passion for using visual content to tell a story on every social platform. You have a keen eye for design and are highly observant, being able to take advantage of culturally relevant opportunities and trends. We need you if you can execute quickly, you have experience in Photoshop and Illustrator or another graphic program to create unique and visually engaging content that resonates with our client’s social communities and captures a larger audience as a result of it’s individuality. You must be able to manage your time well and get creative in the moment, seeing every event as an opportunity to make things happen on behalf of our clients (think Oreo, during this year’s SuperBowl!). You will work directly with our Sr. Brand Strategist in this position.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it: You’ll work within a team structure to assist us in writing and developing content that honors the brand while maintaining individuality and setting the brand apart. You’ll have the ability to design content appropriate for each social platform. Your design skills will help us conceptualize beyond the content calendar and set our clients apart from the rest.
Requirements:
– A bachelor’s degree and 1 – 3 years of experience designing
– 2 – 4 years experience Photoshop, Illustrator or another similar graphic design program

Applicants must keep in mind, again, that this is an internship at a startup, so you will be just as much a part of the team as everyone else. This means you will be expected to contribute and won’t be delegated to do senseless tasks.
